About us


The Black Tricks are a four piece band formed in late 2006. Joel Hodge (lead vocals) and John Bisset (guitar) write hard hitting songs which combine instant, anthemic hooks with lyrics addressing political, social and cultural issues with brutal and disarming honesty and pseudo- religious undertones. Providing the complex rhythms are Jeff Lucas on bass guitar and Ash Hodge on drums. Influenced by Rock, Indie and Punk music- their catchy songs and explosive live set mean they're a band you cannot afford to miss.
