About us
Lets go back to colorful drinks, sunsets, flashing disco floors, a pink neon light and a giant disco ball, add a dash of nostalgia and you have a time machine called Miamii. Electric guitars riffing over synth built melodies, a scoop of crushed ice just to be cool and you have a perfect chorus from a feel good song that echos through time. One thing that has resonated in these boys minds throughout the years is the memory of the music that filtered every fiber of their being as kids, anthems that have set the platform for music nowadays.
That is what Miamii is about, they capture that feeling in their music, using elements of rock with a commercial edge to create a style that puts them in a league of their own. Originally from South Africa, Joe, Ryan and Adam headed over to the UK to pursue their music careers. All members coming out from different bands, mainly pop/punk and metal origin, these four 80's and synth obsessed kids decided it was time to create Miamii. Releasing their first 2 track single cd 'The Bonnet Is Hot, Where Have You Been?' in 2006 to their debut E.P 'Wish You Could Hear!' last year, they have received plenty attention in the London and Manchester Areas.
So sit back, relax and enjoy...........
See you at the next Show guys and thank you all for the support ;)
