About us


Formed in 2005 and finalised in Summer '06, Captain Magenta began their life as a band searching for a name, and by the time that the core of the material which forms their up and coming EP had been recorded, they were no closer to achieving their goal. Having played one gig without a name, borrowing from its acoustic predecessor (RedBlack), Captain Magenta eventually (by a stroke of good luck) agreed on CM, and finally had focus.


The bulk of the EP was recorded in Innis' Attic/'Home Studio', and has been well recieved as the reviews down the page show, so remember, the future's bright, the future's MAGENTA!(sorry)
